Paraply is building user-friendly software and cutting-edge AI models for underserved, low-income communities seeking legal help. In partnership with Stanford AI Lab, Stanford Law School and leading law firms like Wilson Sonsini, we aim to be the legal aid first responder on your phone whenever you need legal help. As immigrant founders, we have experienced the challenges of accessing legal services firsthand and are committed to solving the access to justice crisis in the U.S.
We are a 501(c)(3) tech non-profit driven by our mission in advancing access to justice. The co-founders of Paraply are both Stanford graduates, with years of experience in product, legal and AI (Uber, McKinsey, SAIL, America’s Cup). Our core members have deep domain expertise across software, AI, and legal (Waymo, Anthropic, US-Iran International Tribunal, Yale Law School), with and an all-star advisory board from academia, law firms, corporate counsels and the U.S. government.
